LAP Respite Center, Inc., was established as a 501(c)(3), private, nonprofit agency providing lifespan respite services for families who care for children or adults with disabilities, chronic illness, or age-related conditions.
Respite is the provision of temporary relief for caregivers and families who are caring for those with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or the elderly. The mission of LAP Respite Center is to enhance the quality of life for family caregivers, by creatively providing a wide range of high-quality, accessible, and affordable respite services. Respite services are available to families living in central Michigan in the counties of Ingham, Eaton and Clinton.
